Trip Consultation Service

Travel information can be overwhelming. It’s addictive to go down the rabbit hole of internet articles and social media posts about destinations. You may see a trip you want to take but you have loads of questions about it or you may want to tweak the details so that the trip is not cookie-cutter or touristy.

I offer a supplemental service to the trip planning process. I’m not a travel agent. Here’s what my service provides:

• an in-person meeting
• resources, travel books to check out
• customized, vetted recommendations based on the traveler’s ability level and preferences
• connection to a travel agent and tour guides

Consultation of general information and to find out what type of travel format you’re seeking. Price varies.

• What is your mobility level?
• Do you like culture, museums, immersive travel?
• Are you a land-lubber? Like renting a car? Do you prefer cruises?
• Do you seek only rest and relaxation or do you like intensive sight-seeing or both? Do you like high adventure?
• Do you prefer Air BnBs or hotel/resorts?

This includes everything above plus the name of recommendation travel agent and personal tour guides in specific countries.

This includes my accompaniment as a tour guide and professional photographer of your adventures. In past travels on service and/or recreational trips, etc.,I have taken care of the photography and photo books of my fellow travelers. This frees up the traveler from taking their own camera equipment, etc. This service is ideal for a group wanting to split the cost of my fee.

For couples trips, groups, or ladies trips, you can request the added security of having two tour guides: my husband, Patrick, and me to help out with travel logistics. This level of service helps with transportation, rental car, and lodging details. Handy but not hovering, Patrick and/or I can stay in adjacent villas, beach house apartments, etc.
